OK, I had to pop in here and put a review because I see way too many low reviews that I’m questioning the legitimacy of. Last night was my first time ever going to this salon. I want to start off by saying I called at 5pm (they closed at 7) and ask them if they take walk-ins they said yes and asked me what I would like to get done today. I told him a manicure and pedicure, he asked about what time I would like to come in. I told him 15 minutes, and took me over 25 minutes to get there. I went inside. I spoke to someone immediately. There was no problem about me being later than I expected and I was started within five minutes of walking in the door. The services that I got were a full set manicure and a full set pedicure (I will add pictures). Now remind you when I spoke to him on the phone I forgot to mention the full set part. I just said manicure and pedicure. By the time I got there they were to be closed in about an hour and a half. They had no problem with that and they worked around it, which I am incredibly grateful for. Not only did they do an amazing job, They had wonderful customer service. They asked me if I wanted something to drink and offered me water or WINE (I was shook lol). They listen to me and my wishes, even though they took longer to do. They were incredibly polite. Every time I made eye contact with a worker they smiled at me, And the prices were very fair for what I was wanting. He did not get done with my nails until after 8 o’clock. He didn’t complain, he didn’t rush, even though it was after closing he still took his time and made sure I got what I wanted. When it came time to paying, yes, they did ask for tip in cash, but that’s not abnormal to be requested. as someone who works as a dog groomer, where about a fifth of my income comes from Tips, we do appreciate when they come in cash because we can receive them right away for our hard work. This salon amazed me in so many ways from the cleanliness, to the artistry to the nice conversation. If you are in Racine and you like a really nice intricate design and you’re willing to pay the money for it, you won’t be disappointed. if you listen to any of these reviews, please listen to mine and give it a try. It is so worth it. Got another set done by David! Still 10/10 would recommend.
